Complex”が本気で素晴らしい理由

 

こんにちは、今回は三浦大知のComplexについてお話したい。

 

8月12日に発売されたシングル曲の”U”のカップリング曲”Complex”は物凄いクオリティでぶったまげた。

 

まずはyoutubeでアップロードされている公式のMVをご覧いただきたい。

 

 

なんぞこれ！！！ 素晴らしい。 80’sを感じるグルーヴ感、しかし新しさも感じる絶妙なサウンド、そして三浦大知の歌唱力。 ミラーボールからはじまるこのレトロ感満載なライティング、それでもどこか新しさが見える。

 

そしてBruno Mars – Treasureを連想させる、というか完全にオマージュやないかい！ 三浦大知、まさかTreasureに寄せてくるとは恐るべし。

 

しかも後半はearth wind & fire – septemberやないかい！！ワロタ！！

 

今回のMVは三浦大知の好きなBruno Mars – Treasure、earth wind & fire – septemberへのオマージュ、リスペクト作品に思える。

 

i’m on fire同様、マイケル・ジャクソンへのリスペクト作品だと語ってたと同じく今回もMV構成は似たようにしていて全体的に似せてるのもそう伺える。 画面サイズが4:3な時点でニヤついてしまう。

衣装もタイトなスーツで三浦大知って意外とスタイル良いんだな、と思ってしまった。

 三浦大知は自身のInstagramでアレとアレとアレのオマージュと発言していた。

 

”アレ”が3つあるんだけどあと1つはなんだろうか？詳しい人は教えて欲しい。 にしても音楽作品でのオマージュを行う上で必要なのはスキルの高さだと私は思うのだが今回三浦大知は素晴らしいクオリティに仕上げて来た訳でプロフェッショナルな流儀を感じた。

「なぜ素晴らしいのか」

本来、大ヒットTreasureのオマージュ作品を制作するにあたってかなりハードルが高くなるのだが三浦大知自身の歌唱力やダンス、表現のスキルが高すぎるのでハードルなんか余裕で超えていて尚且つ洗練されたダンスは圧巻だ、 もはや気づけばこの作品はオマージュを超えた三浦大知の”オリジナル”に変貌している気がする。

だから私はこの曲を本気で素晴らしいと思った。 コード付きマイクでこれだけ器用に踊ってターンする人みたことないよ（唖然）

毎回思うけど三浦大知のカップリング、アルバム曲はシングルとして出した方が良いって曲が多い気がする もはや三浦大知って本当はカップリングの曲みたいな感じを全面に出したいんじゃないの？ってぐらいクオリティ高い。

正直今回のはシングルでやるぐらいの挑戦が観たかった。ファンクを堂々歌い踊りあげる三浦大知をテレビで観たかったな、観れたらどれだけ幸せだろうか。
